Trauma-informed care
This work chose me as much as I chose it. I've always felt called to help people heal, and my own life has asked it of me first — recovering from old wounds, repairing and rebuilding a marriage across thirty years, and showing up in a place where help is hard to come by. I bring all of that into the room: hard-won hope, steadiness, and a belief that no one is beyond healing.
My path into this profession took twenty-one years and started at the bottom. I began as a clerk in the Welfare-to-Work program, worked my way up through the human services system to Social Worker II, and ended my county career as a clinical therapist with the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health. There, I served historically underserved populations — including individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, and clients across diverse racial, cultural, and gender identities. I've seen the system from every level, and I've sat with people at every kind of low. That long climb shaped how I work today: steady, practical, grounded in trauma-informed care — and never quick to count anyone out.
I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression — and with couples and families working through conflict, disconnection, and attachment injuries. For couples ready to go deeper than a weekly hour allows, I also offer private, bespoke intensives at select locations across California and Nevada. Whether you're carrying something heavy on your own or trying to find your way back to each other, my goal is the same: a space where you feel understood and a path that actually moves you forward.
I work with a small, carefully chosen caseload — by design. It means every client gets my full clinical attention, and every couple works with a therapist who is genuinely invested in their outcome, not just their hour.
What You Can Expect
In our work together, you'll find a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space. As a survivor myself, trained in trauma-informed care, I understand how vital safety and trust are to healing. We'll collaborate to develop a personalized plan that meets your unique needs — at your pace, on your terms.
Your Strengths, Your Journey
I believe you are the expert of your own story. You already possess strengths and resources that can help you meet life's challenges and navigate the complexities of relationships and intimacy. My role is to help you identify and draw on those strengths, so you can move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
Inclusive, Culturally Sensitive Care
Your background, identity, and values will always be honored in our work together. I practice with an open mind, cultural humility, and an LGBTQ-affirming approach — ensuring you feel seen, respected, and supported every step of the way. You don't have to face this journey alone. I'm here to walk alongside you as you embrace new possibilities for healing, connection, and growth.
Virtual Couples Intensives
Sometimes a weekly hour isn't enough. For couples who need focused, uninterrupted time to work through a specific issue — without waiting weeks for incremental progress. Intensives aren't just longer sessions; they're a different kind of work. Without the stop-start of weekly appointments, you go deeper, move faster, and leave with real tools rather than homework to try before next time.
Best for couples navigating a specific rupture, communication breakdown, or who want to jumpstart their work together before committing to ongoing therapy.
Private In-Person Couples Retreats
For couples ready to do the deepest work. A private, bespoke multi-day experience shaped entirely around your relationship — your patterns, your history, your goals. Away from the distractions of daily life, grounded in the Gottman Method, with just the two of you and me. Spaces are intentionally limited, and appropriateness is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Best for couples at a crossroads, recovering from betrayal, or who've tried weekly therapy and need something more immersive to create lasting change.

Psychedelic Integration
Some clients come to therapy wanting to make sense of a psychedelic experience they've had through a legal, supervised pathway of their own. That's often where the real work begins — insight from an experience like that can fade fast without support to ground it. I offer thoughtful preparation and integration: helping you understand what came up, connect it to everyday life, and turn a profound experience into durable growth. To be clear, this is talk therapy delivered via telehealth. I don't provide, supply, or administer any substance, and I don't advise anyone on obtaining or using one.
